Exchanges / Returns
I hope that you will be very pleased with any products you receive. However, if you are not entirely satisfied please let me know so that I can try to rectify the situation in the first instance. Please contact me before returning any item(s).
In accordance with consumer protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have seven working days in which to cancel the contract of sale and a full refund will be given. After this date, faulty goods returned within 14 days will be refunded or replaced as compliant with the amended Sale of Goods Act 1979. Please note that refunds will only be provided for items that are returned in their original unused condition. If you have tried a coat on your dog please remove any dog hairs with a lint roller. Only the cost of the item(s) will be refunded, I am unable to refund any postage costs incurred.
Please enclose a covering letter with the return detailing your name, full address and reason for return. Please also specify whether you require an exchange or refund. Any items believed to be faulty must be returned for examination prior to any refund or exchange being processed. I would recommend that you return any items by recorded delivery and obtain proof of postage as items lost in post cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Refunds will be processed the same day as the item is received back and will be by the payment method used to place the order. For Exchanges to a larger size where extra monies are due, an invoice will be emailed to you for the balancing payment on receipt of the returned item. The new size will not be posted out until the balance payment has been received.
Please note that personalised, Made to Measure coats, and custom items are non returnable, unless the item is faulty or the personalisation is incorrect due to an error by Freckles Designs.
If any item(s) arrive damaged you must inform me on the day of delivery. I will usually ask for the damaged item(s) to be returned to me but please do not return any items until you receive written confirmation to do so. Where possible a replacement item will be supplied. If this is not possible a refund will be given.
